Competions
On this page, I will be sharing different competitions that I have competed in.
01
Bourstad Challenge
I am now enrolled in the Bourstad challenge. It consist of a stock market competition where you have the opportunity to buy and sell stock in order to make the biggest possible profit (starting with a 200 000$ wallet). Along with the challenge, I also followed an online formation given by M. Dubé. This training enabled me to have a good base on the stock market and, thus, to not be clueless during the challenge. Furthermore, every week, I have to complete small tasks assigned by M. Dubé in order to put into use what was taught in the initial video.

Les Jeux des Sciences humaines
In April 2024, I had the opportunity, along with three other students from the honours program, to participate to the Jeux des Sciences humaines. It was over a weekend in Ste-Foy. There, we did many challenges that combined a multitude of disciplines related to the social sciences, such as history, psychology, economy, geography, politics, sociology, statistics and much more. After the day events, we also had the chance to connect and meet people from CEGEPs all over the province. The weekend was also a moment of pride as we finished first on the Saturday and third overall. I really hope to go again next year as it was one of my best experiences in CEGEP yet.

In March 2025, I also competed in the Jeux des Sciences Humaines. This time, I was the only person in my team that had experience which allowed me to experience something completely different. In fact, I was a person that my team could rely on as I could give information beforehand. Furthermore, being a second year student also gave me more confidence as I felt like I was much more prepared for all of the different challenges given that I had taken almost the double of classes when compared to last year. Moreover, since I had done other intercollegiate activities since my first time, my second weekend of competition also allowed me to talk to students from other schools that I had already met and got along with. In other words, it gave me a chance to see some of my friends again. Although we didn't win this time around I still had a great time and would do it again if I could.
