In September, I have attended a conference made by Luc Vigneault. He spoke on mental health and his own history with schizophrenia and substance use. Furthermore, M. Vigneault talked about recovery  and how should mental health professionals approach the recovery process. He explained the establishment of a plan and that setting goals was the best way to start a recovery process. This conference made me realize that the recovery process is not a common subject in psychology courses and that it should be a part of the curriculum since diagnosis and symptoms are just as important as the actual process to getting better.
